Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other relevant financial data.
Financial Statement Preparation:
Prepare financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Accounting Process Management:
Ensure that all accounting processes are in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Tax Compliance:
Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Payroll Management:
Process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and ensuring timely payments to employees.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights into the company's financial performance and future trends.
Reconciliations:
Perform bank and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Data Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
Reporting:
Prepare reports and presentations to management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
Support:
Provide accounting support to other departments within the company as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software, such as Quickbooks or SAP.
Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
